The company is currently seeking an Infrastructure & Facilities Manager to lead facilities management, infrastructure planning, and construction projects in support of its automotive and parts distribution operations.

Position Summary

The Infrastructure & Facilities Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company's physical infrastructure, facilities, and construction projects. The role ensures that vehicle sales, service operations, parts distribution, warehouses, corporate offices, and dealer network facilities operate safely, efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with corporate standards, regulatory requirements, and manufacturer image guidelines.
This position oversees construction, renovation, expansion, and capital improvement projects from inception through completion, while also supporting, reviewing, and monitoring infrastructure projects across the dealer network of the brands represented by the company. The role requires close collaboration with manufacturers, contractors, architects, engineers, suppliers, operational leaders, and support functions to ensure compliance with brand standards, operational continuity, safety requirements, budgets, permits, project schedules, and customer experience expectations.
Additionally, the position leads the facilities management function for the distributor's corporate headquarters and two brand showrooms through the supervision of the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor and maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the infrastructure, facilities, and capital improvement master plan aligned with business priorities, brand growth initiatives, operational requirements, and manufacturer standards.
  • Lead projects from planning and scope development through budgeting, permitting, design, bidding, contracting, construction, commissioning, and final closeout.
  • Monitor dealer construction, renovation, and facility upgrade projects to ensure compliance with brand image standards, technical requirements, and project timelines.
  • Coordinate project reviews, approvals, audits, reporting, photographic documentation, drawings, specifications, and communications with manufacturer representatives.
  • Oversee, through the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, preventive and corrective maintenance programs for buildings, electrical systems, HVAC systems, plumbing, generators, elevators, workshop equipment, common areas, parking facilities, and security systems at corporate offices and brand showrooms.
  • Evaluate, select, coordinate, and monitor the performance of contractors, suppliers, consultants, and facilities service providers.
  • Maintain records of facilities assets, critical equipment, warranties, contracts, drawings, manuals, insurance policies, keys, access controls, and technical documentation.
  • Prepare project status reports, risk assessments, budget updates, milestone tracking, decision support documentation, manufacturer compliance reports, and maintenance performance metrics.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in facilities management, construction, maintenance, capital projects, or corporate infrastructure management.
  • Proven experience managing construction, renovation, or expansion projects within commercial, retail, automotive, industrial, or customer-service environments.
  • Practical knowledge of blueprint reading, permitting processes, budgeting, bidding, contract administration, change orders, project scheduling, and project closeout.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, Microsoft Office Suite, executive reporting, budget management, and facilities management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), electrical systems, plumbing, backup generators, physical security systems, fire protection systems, workshop equipment, and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Availability to travel between locations, dealerships, and project sites, as well as respond to emergencies and coordinate after-hours work when required.
  • Experience leading supervisors, maintenance technicians, contractors, and operational teams across multiple locations.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), OSHA, Facility Management, Lean Construction, or related disciplines are highly desirable.
