Job Summary
The primary purpose of the Sales Analyst position is to generate, update, and analyze key reports for the commercial area that support strategic decision-making. This role provides visibility into commercial performance, identifies opportunities for improvement, collaborates with internal stakeholders, and supports key business initiatives.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepares, analyzes, and interprets weekly and monthly sales reports to support commercial decision-making.
- Provides data-driven analysis and recommendations to enable informed decisions aligned with business objectives.
- Keeps departmental performance indicators up to date with reliable data, ensuring accuracy and clarity in analysis.
- Supports the updating of corporate presentations by integrating verified and reliable data.
- Prepares and sends a monthly newsletter to the internal team, providing business updates and key information compiled and developed by the sales segment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
- Specialization: Management, Accounting, and/or Finance
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in analyst functions, preferably in the food distribution industry.
- Three (3) or more years of experience in data analysis and interpretation.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Internet, and use of electronic devices including, but not limited to, tablets.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
